People Skills setup
People Skills can be deployed quickly using default settings and an out of the box skills taxonomy, or customized to your organization’s needs with options to import skill libraries, selectively deploy to groups or individuals, manage skills permissions, and control skill sharing settings.
People Skills licensing
People Skills comes with your Copilot or Viva licenses and doesn’t need a separate license.
AI inferencing and other advanced experiences are available to all users with Copilot or select Viva licenses, while other Microsoft 365 commercial users can manually create skills profiles using the profile editor.
Tenants with Microsoft Copilot licenses can now opt-in Microsoft Enterprise E3 and E5 users as well for AI-powered inferencing.
