In a Microsoft Teams environment, business users and students in educational settings require the ability within a team to be able to ask questions within the context of a specific topic or forum. The topic wouldn't always warrant a new channel, as it could simply be a classroom topic set by a teacher. The posts tab within Microsoft Teams isn't contextual enough for this need, and the thread of the conversation can be lost and difficult to find as days go by and new posts are created.

If a user has a question, they can post the question in the most relevant forum. Subject matter experts can respond to the question, and the answers can be marked as answered by the author of the topic, or by a forum moderator. Users can easily search the forums or use the tag cloud to research the answer to a question before posting.
